Fog and cold set to increase in Uttarakhand as temperatures fall

Dry cold is troubling people due to lack of rain in Uttarakhand since the departure of monsoon. Meteorologists say that fog will prevail in the plains of the state in the coming days. Due to this, the temperature will fall and the cold will increase during the day as well as in the morning and evening.

According to the forecast issued by the Meteorological Center, the weather across the state will remain dry on Tuesday. If we look at the data of Monday, the maximum temperature of Doon was recorded at 26.4 with an increase of one degree from normal and the minimum temperature was recorded at 9.8 degrees with one degree less than normal. Till now this temperature is being recorded two-three degrees more than normal.

Dense fog alert from 20 to 22 November

As per the weather forecast for the coming days, a yellow alert has been issued for moderate to dense fog in Udham Singh Nagar and Haridwar districts from 20 to 22 November, 2024. Its direct effect will be seen on the temperature of the plain districts. However, the weather will remain dry in other districts.

The director of the centre, Bikram Singh, said that after November 20, the effect of the temperature across the state will be seen. The temperature is expected to fall due to the northwest winds. Due to this, cold will be felt during the day as well as in the morning and evening.
