Govt seeks proposals to launch new courses in degree colleges soon

New courses will be started in the degree colleges of the state. Proposals have been sought from the Directorate of Higher Education and colleges through VC held at the government level. The exercise of preparing proposals through colleges has started at the directorate level. The proposals received from the colleges will soon be sent to the government. After which new courses and faculties will be approved by the government. The posts of professors and staff will also be approved by the government for the operation of new faculties. Recently, the Higher Education Secretary held a meeting with the officials of the Directorate and the principals of degree colleges through VC.
In which there was a discussion about opening new courses and faculties in degree colleges. During this, the principals were instructed to prepare proposals for new faculties and send them through the Directorate of Higher Education. In the same sequence, a proposal has been prepared to start new courses in Government College Mori, Uttarkashi and Government College Purola.
After the government’s instructions, a report is being prepared from the Directorate of Higher Education level by seeking proposals from degree colleges for opening new faculties and subjects in colleges. After proposals are received from colleges across the state, a list will be prepared and sent to the government. Upon approval from the government, new courses will be started in degree colleges. For this, the posts of professors and staff will also be approved by the government. “During the VC held at the government level, proposals for new courses have been sought from the principals of degree colleges. After the proposals are prepared from the degree colleges, they will be sent to the government.
