Haridwar Kumbh 2021: Kumbh Mela to begin from 27 February 2021
The Mahaparava Kumbh Mela of Aastha will start from Magh Purnima on 27 February in Haridwar, which will continue till 27 April. With this, the Uttarakhand government will issue a notification a week in advance. This has been confirmed by Secretary Urban Development Shailesh Bagauli. During this, he informed that preparations for the Kumbh Mela are in the final stages.
This year, Kumbh is going to be held in Haridwar. The government has fully geared up for the divine and grand event of Kumbh. Preparations are going on fast at every level. Organizing the Kumbh amid corona virus infection is nothing short of a challenge. In this situation, full vigilance is being exercised.
Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat himself is holding a review meeting from time to time regarding Kumbh. He instructed the officials to complete the remaining works of Kumbh at the earliest. Along with this, CM has also asked to focus on the quality of works. He has made it clear that no negligence will be tolerated in this.
Kumbh work top priority
In the meeting, Urban Development Secretary Shailesh Bagauli said that the work related to Kumbh Mela is being given top priority. The budget is being allocated, taking immediate decisions relative to the approved proposals. Melakadhikari Deepak Rawat told that most of the works of permanent nature have been completed and the rest will be completed soon. Most of the work related to roads and bridges has been completed. All necessary works of National Highway will be completed soon.
