Agriculture and Horticulture Minister Ganesh Joshi said, Uttarakhand Horticulture Council will organize a Horticulture Fair from November 17 to 19, in which various products will be exhibited by entrepreneurs and self-help groups in the horticulture sector.
On Friday, the Agriculture and Horticulture Minister held a meeting with officials at the camp office in Hathibarkala regarding the preparations for the Horticultural Enterprise Fair. He gave directions to the officials to make the fair a success. Horticulture Council is organizing the fair to promote and honor and encourage horticulture and other based startup businesses in the state.
Cooperation of Horticulture, Silk, Tea Board, Herbal Institute, Aromatic Plant Center will also be taken in the program. Regarding organizing the fair, the Minister requested the National Horticulture Board, Central Government through telephone for cooperation in the programme. He directed the officers to visit Kashmir and Himachal for advanced apple production and Holland to promote advanced flower production and tourism.
Chief Executive Officer Uttarakhand Horticultural Council Narendra Kumar Yadav, Chief Horticultural Officer Dehradun Dr. Meenakshi Joshi, Scientists of Aromatic Plant Center Dr. Sunil Shah, NK Singh, Marketing Manager Bhupesh Negi etc. were present in the meeting.
