International Yoga Festival begins in Rishikesh
International Yoga Festival has begun on both sides of the Ganges in Rishikesh. Yoga Festival is being organized at Ganga Resort on Muni-ki-reti and at Parmarth Niketan on the other side. A large number of foreign guests have also reached Rishikesh to attend the fest.
In the Rishikesh every year, the International Yoga Festival is held. This time, yoga classes have started for yoga enthusiasts on both sides of the Ganges. After the yoga classes started on the Parmarth Niketan Ganga coast, the fest was formally inaugurated by Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj and Forest Minister Dr. Harak Singh Rawat. Prior to this, the Chief Minister had duly initiated the Yoga Festival on Thursday at Muni-ka-reti GMVN.
More than one and a half thousand people have reached the Yagya Yoga Sadhana on the two shores. Along with Muni-ki-reti, Laxshman jhula, Swarg ashram and Tapovan area, overseas guests are seen in Rishikesh. Those who are unable to attend these events, they are doing yoga practice on the Ganges coast. These days the atmosphere of the atmosphere of the spiritual town is full of Yogic activities.
In the International Yoga Festival, the arrival of foreign guests in the pilgrimage area has also brought smiles on the faces of traders. Between Laxshman Jhula-Swargashram, the arrival of foreign guests is being seen so much that it does not seem that one is walking on the streets of India. There is a huge crowd on Ram jhula well.
Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam has made special preparations for Yoga Festival. Especially in the food served to yoga instructors, yoga seekers will be introduced to mountain dishes every day. On the first day of Yoga Festival on Friday, toor dal, confectionery, roti, rice, chutney and jaggery were served. Gana Resort Manager DS Rana said that during the yoga week, there are plans to make some mountain dishes every day.
