IPS Kewal Khurana passes away aged 46
IPS officer Kewal Khurana, passed away on Sunday. He breathed his last at Max Hospital in Saket, Delhi. He was a 2004 batch IPS officer and was counted among the sharp officers. The death of senior IPS Kewal Khurana has caused a great loss to the state along with the police.
He had also been the SSP of Haridwar and Dehradun. He brought along many changes towards improving the traffic system of Dehradun, and also played a special role in controlling crime. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, DGP along with police and administrative officials and the people of the state have condoled his death.

There is a wave of mourning in the police department due to the death of senior and 2004 batch IPS. Senior IPS Kewal Khurana was adept at taking charge of big districts like Haridwar and Dehradun.
