Kedarnath helicopter booking: Second slot to open in the first week of May
The second slot for online booking of helicopter tickets for the Kedarnath Dham Yatra will open in the first week of May. In this, tickets will be booked to go to Kedarnath in June. For this, the Uttarakhand Civil Aviation Development Authority has completed preparations.
In the Chardham Yatra, there is the highest demand for helicopter service to go to Kedarnath Dham. There is a rush for ticket booking. The doors of Kedarnath temple are opening on May 2. Heli service will be started from this day.
The Uttarakhand Civil Aviation Development Authority opened the IRCTC website on April 8 for booking Kedarnath helicopter service from May 2 to 31. The tickets for the whole month were full within an hour. During this time, 7650 tickets were booked, 24 thousand passengers will go through these.
The Authority’s Additional Chief Executive Officer Dayanand Saraswati said that online booking of Kedarnath helicopter service tickets for the journey from June 1 onwards will be started in the first week of May.
