Monsoon session of Assembly to be held from 21 to 23 August in Garsain
The monsoon session of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly will be held from 21 to 23 August, 2024. The session will be organized at Bhararisain Assembly of Gairsain. The government has issued its orders on Friday evening.
In the cabinet meeting held recently, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami was authorized to decide the time and place of the session. Since then, preparations were going on to conduct the session. On Friday, the CM fixed the date.
The budget session is held every year in the Vidhan Sabha Bhawan located at Bhararisain in Gairsain, but before the Lok Sabha elections, the state government held the budget session of 2024-25 in Dehradun. On this, the opposition also accused the state government of neglecting Gairsain. In view of this, preparations have been made to hold the monsoon session in Gairsain in August.
