Monsoon to depart during first week of October

The monsoon departure from the state may happen in the first week of October. According to the circumstances so far, the farewell schedule may lag about a week. At the same time, there is a possibility of rain in most areas of the state from 26 to 28 September. Heavy rainfall may occur in some areas.

The normal monsoon farewell in the state is around 27 September. But this year it may be delayed by a week. In fact, the monsoon this year was also delayed by about a week reaching the state .

Now the same schedule is being seen at the time of departure. Meteorological Center Director Bikram Singh said that by now normally the monsoon departure from Rajasthan should have started. But till now there is no monsoon from Rajasthan. In such a situation, farewell from Uttarakhand is also likely to take extra time.

Most parts of the state are expected to receive rains from 26 to 28 September. During this period, heavy to very heavy rainfall may occur in some areas. According to a bulletin issued by the Meteorological Center, this may be the last rain of the monsoon season 2019.

22 percent less rain

So far, the state has received 22 percent less rainfall during the monsoon season. According to the Meteorological Department, 19 percent less or more than normal is also considered normal rainfall. In seven districts, the rains are still below normal.
