National Games 2025: Uttarakhand rises to sixth in medal tally after day 12

Uttarakhand has created history by winning 60 medals including 13 gold medals so far in the ongoing National Games so far. The state has reached the sixth position in the medal tally. Sports Minister Rekha Arya has congratulated the players for this. She said, the players of the state rained gold on Devbhoomi on Saturday.
Uttarakhand was at the 11th position in the medal tally of the National Games on Friday. Which reached the sixth position after winning five more gold medals on Saturday. The state has so far won 62 medals including 14 gold, 22 silver and 26 bronze medals.
Most of the gold medals, five medals, have been won in Modern Pentathlon. The state’s boxers performed brilliantly in boxing, in which the state got three gold and two silver medals. Apart from this, the state has got one gold medal each in Wushu, Taekwondo, Yogasana, Canoeing and Kayaking and Lawn Ball.
Services tops with 71 medals including 42 gold
In the 38th National Games being held in Uttarakhand, Services tops the medal tally with 71 medals including 42 gold. While Karnataka is second with 58 medals including 30 gold and Maharashtra is third with 113 medals including 25 gold.
