PM Modi to visit Adi Kailash, Jageshwar on Uttarakhand visit today

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is reaching Uttarakhand on Thursday, 12 October. He will start Kumaon tour of Uttarakhand from the frontier Pithoragarh district. First of all he will visit Adi Kailash here. After visiting Parvati Kund and offering prayers, the Prime Minister will also talk to the local villagers in Gunji village on the China border.

PM Modi will also visit Jageshwar Dham in Almora and offer prayers. Senior BJP leaders and Chief Secretaries will be present here to welcome the Prime Minister. PM Modi will take a flight from Delhi early on Thursday. He will reach Trishul Air Base of Bareilly Air Force by special plane at 6 am. From there we will leave for Adi Kailash darshan by helicopter.

 

PM Modi to inaugurate Rs 4200 crore schemes for Uttarakhand

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Uttarakhand on Thursday and will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of several development projects worth Rs 4,200 crore, apart from participating in darshan-puja and some other programs. The Prime Minister will reach Pithoragarh around 2:30 pm, where he will inaugurate, dedicate to the nation and lay the foundation stone of several development projects worth about Rs 4200 crore in sectors like rural development, roads, power, irrigation, drinking water.

The projects to be inaugurated and inaugurated by Prime Minister Modi include 76 rural roads and 25 bridges constructed in rural areas, 15 buildings of BDO offices in nine districts, three roads constructed under the Central Road Fund, Almora Petshal-Panuwanula-Danya and Tanakpur-Chalthi (NH 125), three drinking water projects, 132 KV Pithoragarh-Lohaghat (Champawat) power transmission line, 39 bridges in Uttarakhand and construction of Uttarakhand State Disaster Management Authority (USDMA) in Dehradun. The building houses the World Bank-funded Uttarakhand Disaster Recovery Project.

Apart from these, the schemes to be laid by Prime Minister Modi during this tour include a scheme for construction of 21,398 poly houses, a scheme for the cultivation of intensive apple orchards, five projects for NH road upgradation, a scheme for strengthening disaster management preparedness in the state. He will lay the foundation stone for construction of bridges, upgradation of State Emergency Operation Center in Dehradun, taking steps for prevention of landslides in Balinala, Nainital.
