Preparations to promote destination wedding in Uttarakhand
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami held a meeting with the officials in the Secretariat and directed to promote destination wedding in Uttarakhand. He ordered to improve road connectivity in Triyugi Narayan as well as construction of helipad there.
New wedding destination will be identified in the state
The Chief Minister directed that new places should be identified for destination wedding in the state and attention should be paid to their development. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also urged the countrymen to give priority to Uttarakhand for destination wedding.
The economy of the state will get a boost
The Chief Minister said that destination wedding will strengthen the economy of the state. The natural beauty and modern facilities of Uttarakhand will help in making it a major wedding destination. He directed the Tourism Department to prepare a guideline for “Destination Uttarakhand” soon.
