Rain, snow forecast to lower temperature in Uttarakhand
Cold has intensified in Uttarakhand and a sharp drop in temperature is being felt. Meanwhile, in five districts of the state, the weather is likely to change again today. Today the Meteorological Department has predicted rain and snowfall in parts of Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, Bageshwar and Pithoragarh. According to the Meteorological Department, light to moderate rain may occur at isolated places in these districts. While there is a possibility of snowfall in the areas above 3500 meters. The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in five districts including Uttarkashi-Chamoli in Uttarakhand on Tuesday. At the same time, the effect of the weather will also be on the mountainous areas. The process of snowfall continues on the higher peaks including Gangotri, Badrinath. It snowed here on Monday as well.
Meanwhile, in Munsiyari of Pithoragarh district, there has also been snowfall a month before the estimated time. After the snowfall, the peaks of Munsiyari are white and covered with a sheet of snow. The minimum temperature in Munsiyari has reached 3 degree Celsius due to snowfall. Snow fell in many other parts of Munsiyari including Panchachuli, Rajrambha, Milam, Nanda Devi, Chhipla Kedar, Panchachuli, Hansling, Rajrambha and many other parts. After the snowfall, Munsiyari recorded a minimum temperature of three degrees and a maximum of 12 degrees.
According to the Meteorological Department, due to the activity of Western Disturbance, rain may occur in the surrounding hill districts including the capital today. With the change in the weather, the cold is sure to increase rapidly. In such a situation, the Meteorological Department has appealed to the people to be careful.
