According to the health report on 17 June in Uttarakhand, the number of corona patients was 2023, 81 cases were found in the last 24 hours. Today 31 new patients have been found in Dehradun. So far 1254 patients have recovered, while 26 people have also died due to this corona infection.
Doon Medical College named Center of Excellence
The Central Government has designated Doon Medical College as the Center of Excellence for its excellent work in the treatment and sampling of corona virus-infected patients. At the same time, the Health Department has appointed Dr. Anurag Agarwal as the Nodal Officer of Doon Medical College.
As per the order issued by Secretary Health Amit Singh Negi, the Central Government has declared the State Doon Medical College as the Center of Excellence in Covid 19 Clinical Management.
A laboratory has been established in Doon Medical College for sample testing and is undergoing rapid sampling in a short duration . At the same time, the performance of sending corona infected patients home after treatment has also been good. Dr. Anurag Agarwal, Head of the Department of Respiratory Medicine of the Medical College, was named the Nodal Officer.
