Uttarakhand corona curfew extended till 15 June; know new guidelines
Amidst the decrease in corona cases in Uttarakhand, the state government has extended the Covid curfew till June 15, giving partial relaxation. On Sunday, the government has issued its SOP. During the Covid curfew, this week government PDS ration shops will open daily from 8 am to 12 noon. At the same time, stationery shops, general stores and grocery shops will open from 8 am to 1 pm on Wednesday (June 09) and Monday (June 14). Food packaging shops, readymade garments, tailor shops, eyeglasses shops, cycle stores, industrial machinery, motor parts shops and dry cleaners shops will remain open from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm on June 11.
Photocopy shops, timber merchant shops will remain open from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm on 9th June 2021. The government in the state has been advised not to organize the wedding ceremony as far as possible. Despite this, if it is not possible to postpone the marriage ceremony, then only a maximum of 20 people can attend. All these have to carry the RT-PCR negative test report together.
Liqour shops allowed to open for 3 days
The government has also decided to open liquor shops this week. The shops will open three days a week on Wednesday (June 9), Friday (June 11) and Monday (June 14) from 8 am to 1 pm. At the same time, the bars will remain closed till further orders.
Government spokesperson Subodh Uniyal said that curfew has been extended for seven days in the state. During this period, in rural areas of the state, the District Magistrate will issue orders according to the situation of Covid in their district.
Guidelines of Corona curfew in Uttarakhand
– All loaded or empty (goods) vehicles will be allowed to move between state and inter-state and transport material.
– The sale, transportation, warehousing and related activities of fruits, vegetables, dairy, milk, bakery, meat, chicken and fish will open on daily basis from 8 am to 12 noon.
– Online and home delivery allowed through e-commerce platform.
– Ban on food sitting in hotels, dhabas, home delivery allowed.
– All the people coming to the state are not allowed to enter the state without the RT-PCR negative test report not exceeding 72 hours ago.
– Operation of public vehicles within the state with the condition of 50 percent capacity.
– RTPCR or Rapid Antigen Test will not be required for those traveling between Garhwal to Kumaon and Kumaon to Garhwal. They will have to register on the ePass web portal of the Smart City.
– It will be mandatory for all passengers to show negative report of RTPCR or Rapid Antigen Test to go from plain areas of Dehradun, Haridwar, Pauri Garhwal, Nainital and Udham Singh Nagar to hilly areas.
– The condition of four persons for ashes immersion in Hardiwar and the condition of RTPCR negative report will remain the same.
– Offices in private, corporate and civil society areas will remain closed.
