Uttarakhand Corona news 20 September: 878 cases found; 855 recoveries

The figures of patients recovering from corona in the state on Sunday certainly gave relief. A total of 878 new cases were reported, while 855 infected patients beat Corona, while 13 patients died. The maximum number of 408 new cases came from Dehradun, 176 from Haridwar, 55 Tehri from Pauri and 48 from Nainital. Apart from this, Uttrakashi reported 44, Pithoragarh 31, Almora 17, Chamoli 14, Rudraprayag 13, Udham Singh Nagar and Champawat 11 each and two cases were reported from Bageshwar. So far, 40963 cases are positive in the state, out of which 27828 have become healthy, while 491 admitted to various hospitals have died.

According to the Bulletin issued by the Health Department, 10092 sample negatives have been received on Sunday.

10% higher infection rate in private lab examination compared to government lab

The infection rate in the Covid test being conducted in private pathology labs is 10 percent higher than the government lab. In the last seven days, samples of a total of 10686 people were investigated in Dehradun district, out of which 3315 corona were found infected. The infection rate in private laboratories is 36 percent in Covid screening and 26 percent in government labs.
