Uttarakhand Corona news: Total case count crosses 11000
Again over 400 cases found in a span of 24 hours
416 new cases of Coronavirus were detected in Uttarakhand on 13 August. Haridwar and Udham Singh Nagar districts continue to remain the worst effected due to Coronavirus. As per the health bulletin released today, maximum cases (192) were found in Udham Singh Nagar. Followed by Haridwar 107, Dehradun 36, 16 each in Tehri and Champawat, 15 each in Nainital and Uttarakashi, 9 in Bageshwar, 5 in Pauri, 4 in Rudraprayag and 1 in Almora.
Total active Corona cases in Uttarakhand crosses 4000, Increasing sample result wait cause of concern
Today, 327 patients were discharged after being cured of the virus. The total active cases in the state stands at 4103. A record 6491 samples were sent for testing today but the worrying part is the increasing value of results pending. Currently, results of over 12000 samples is awaited in the state. There are nearly 500 containment zones in Uttarakhand with majority of them being in Haridwar district.
For the past few days Uttarakhand has been regularly reporting close to 400 Corona cases which has led to a sharp decline in recovery rate of the state. The Corona patient recovery rate in the state as on 13 August is 62.12%, which was 79.16% on July 13.
