Uttarakhand Corona update: 104 new cases detected on July 15

The graph of corona infection is increasing rapidly in Uttarakhand. Corona has been confirmed among 104 people on Wednesday, with the highest number of 52 cases reported in Dehradun district. Apart from this, 24 in Nainital, eight in Uttarkashi, seven in Pithoragarh, six in Udham Singh Nagar, five in Haridwar, one case each were reported in Pauri Garhwal and Champawat. At the same time, 81 infected patients fully recovered and were discharged. The number of corona-infected patients has now reached 3785 across the state. Of these, 2948 patients have recovered, while 50 have died. Currently 754 cases are active, while 33 patients have moved out of the state.

According to the information received from the Health Department, on Tuesday, the health report of 2074 samples was received. Of these, the 1970 report is negative and 104 are case positive. In Udham Singh Nagar, 6 more people have been found corona infected. Reports of two health workers have also come positive.

Today, 81 patients have recovered and returned home. So far, 2948 infected patients have recovered and returned home. There are still 754 active cases. While 50 corona-infected patients have died so far. At the same time, the recovery rate of corona patients in the state is 77.89 percent and the doubling rate is 32.86 days. Results of 6924 samples is awaited

Will decide on allowing Corona free tourists in state: CM Rawat

The Chief Minister has currently refused permission for tourists to visit Chardham in Uttarakhand. He says that the government is getting ideas to allow those who have become Covid free to come. But the cases of corona infections have increased in the state for the last two-three days. Therefore, the government will take a decision only after much discussions.

2 Containment zones removed in Haldwani

Indira Nagar and Ujala Nagar areas of Haldwani have been removed from the Containment Zone after 14 days. People have breathed a sigh of relief from this. When 33 patients came to Corona positive, the area was put in the containment zone, but in the meantime, not a single new patient was found in the area.

DM Savin Bansal says that after the recommendation of the health team, the Containment Zone was declared in Indira Nagar and Ujala Nagar on July 2. After a 14-day routine survey, the team informed that the reports of pregnant and other patients coming positive have come negative. Along with this, the team of doctors conducted health tests of 3633 persons of Indira Nagar area and 2771 persons of Ujala Nagar area.
