Uttarakhand corona update: 26 cases found on 19 February

The steady decline in corona cases in Uttarakhand continues. On Friday, 26 cases of corona were found in the state. At the same time, two patients have also died. Till now 97031 people have been infected in the state. 93407 (96.27 percent) of whom have been healthy. At present there are 495 active cases of corona, while 1443 patients have gone out of state. Apart from this, 1686 patients of Corona infected have also died so far.
According to the information received from the Health Department, a total of 9551 sample test reports have been received from government and private labs. Of these, 9525 cases have been reported negative. Dehradun has the maximum number of 16 people infected. Apart from this, seven people have been found infected in Nainital and one each in Udham Singh Nagar, Haridwar and Chamoli. While eight districts Almora, Bageshwar, Champawat, Pauri, Rudraprayag, Tehri, Uttarkashi and Pithoragarh, no new cases of corona infection have been found. Here, 68 patients have also recovered in various districts. Out of which 30 are from Dehradun, 22 Udham Singh Nagar, seven Nainital, six Chamoli and three patients from Haridwar.
5487 was vaccinated in the state
As a part of the ongoing immunization campaign in the state, the vaccine was also administered at 109 centers on Friday. During this period, 5487 persons were vaccinated. These included 2693 health workers and 2794 frontline workers. In this way, one lakh 34 thousand 842 persons have been vaccinated in the state so far. While 6990 persons have received the second dose of vaccine. Dehradun and Haridwar have the highest number of vaccinations.
