Uttarakhand daily Corona update: 516 cases found on 02 December
On Wednesday, 516 new Corona patients were found in the state and 13 died. With this, the total number of patients in the state has reached 75784. While the death toll is 1251. According to the Health Bulletin released by the Health Department, on Wednesday, 33 in Almora, 3 in Bageshwar, 17 in Chamoli, 16 in Champawat, 194 in Dehradun, 86 in Haridwar, 67 in Nainital, 20 in Pauri, 26 in Pithoragarh, Rudraprayag. Seven, 10 in Tehri, 47 in US Nagar while 8 patients in Uttarkashi district have been found to have corona virus infection. On Wednesday, three died at Kailash Hospital, five at AIIMS Rishikesh, one at District Hospital Bageshwar, one at Base Hospital Srinagar, two at Mahant Indresh Hospital while one infected patient died at Haldwani Medical College.
A total of 473 patients were discharged from hospitals across the state on Wednesday after recovering. With this, the number of patients who have been cured so far in the state has reached 68838. While 4955 patients are being treated in various hospitals of the state. The recovery rate of patients in the state is 90.83 percent while the infection rate is running 5.54 percent. On Wednesday, more than 13 thousand samples were sent from state hospitals to the lab for examination. While more than 14 thousand samples were reported.
More than 17 thousand samples are yet to be tested in various labs of the state. On Wednesday, 194 new corona patients were found in the capital. While not wearing masks in public places, challans of 46 people were cut. Currently, 1384 people in Dehradun district are undergoing treatment. On Wednesday, 3590 samples were sent for investigation.
