Increase after 10 years

Previously, the registration fee was fixed in 2015. Under this, two percent of the property’s valuation was required as registration fee. The maximum limit was ₹25,000. Now, the maximum limit has been increased to ₹50,000.

Properties up to ₹10 lakh will be charged ₹20,000, and properties up to ₹25 lakh will be charged ₹50,000. A maximum fee of ₹50,000 has also been set for properties above ₹25 lakh.
