Uttarakhand provides one day window for inter district travel on 31 March
Those who want to go from one district to another within Uttarakhand will be able to go between 7 am to 8 pm on March 31. Giving this information, Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat said that this permission will be allowed only for Tuesday 31 March. This one-day window is being given because such things were coming from place to place that many people had come for their work and are trapped outside their house due to lockdown. Buses and taxis will have to be sanitized. Social distancing will also have to be followed.
The Chief Minister said that from 7 am to 1 am, there has been a good response to the arrangements for opening shops of essential commodities. This has ended the nervousness of people and also decreased people from going out in huge numbers. The CM said that, “People are now beginning to understand the lockdown. Therefore, this system will be continued”.
Uttarakhand Sadan to be opened for people of the state
The Chief Minister said that Uttarakhand Sadan has been opened for Uttarakhand residents who are trapped in Delhi. Their food, medical facilities etc. are arranged there. Similarly, in Mumbai also, Uttarakhand Bhavan has been opened to the people of Uttarakhand trapped in lockdown.
The Chief Minister said that we are going to recruit 500 doctors in two-three days. With this, we will have a sufficient number of doctors. The Chief Minister said that one month exemption has been given for renewal of life certificate for pensioners and renewal of driving license.
