Uttarakhand records 197 deaths due to Corona in last 24 hours
The new cases of Coronavirus have reduced in Uttarakhand as compared to last week but the deaths due to Covid-19 have increased. On 15th may, 197 deaths were reported in the state. 5654 new cases and 4806 recoveries were also reported in the last 24 hours.

Currently there are 80000 active Corona cases in the state. 27881 samples were sent for testing today while results of 19723 is awaited. 33090 vaccine doses were administered in Uttarakhand on May 15.
Medical counselor will monitor home isolation patients
The Medical Counselor will now supervise the corona patients living in home isolation. A counselor has been given the responsibility of 50 patients per day. The Medical Counselor will be given an honorarium of one thousand rupees per month for maintenance of telephone bill and records of the patient.
