Uttarakhand weather update: Continuous rise in temperature across the state

In Uttarakhand, the weather is dry from the mountains to the plains and the mercury is constantly rising due to bright sunshine. In most areas, the temperature has reached three to four degrees Celsius above normal. For the first time this year, the maximum temperature in Doon was recorded at 34 degrees Celsius.
Along with this, the maximum temperature in Pantnagar has reached 37 and in Khatima it has reached close to 38 degrees Celsius. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather may remain dry in the plains on Friday (March 28) as well. Due to which the heat is likely to increase. There may be light rain at some places in the mountainous regions.
Thursday was hottest day so far this year
In Dehradun, the sky was clear since morning and the sun shone brightly. Due to which the heat increased in the afternoon and the mercury also increased. Along with this, Thursday (March 27) was the hottest day so far this year. The temperature of Doon was recorded four degrees Celsius above normal. Along with this, the minimum temperature is also two degrees Celsius above normal. In other cities, the mercury has been recorded two to six degrees Celsius higher. Khatima was the hottest place in the state, while Mukteshwar was the least hot.
