Uttarakhand weather update: Rain alert for these districts on August 29

A yellow alert for heavy rain has been issued in three districts of the state including Dehradun. Whereas, there is a possibility of heavy rain in some places in other districts as well. While light to moderate rain has been predicted in four districts.

According to the forecast issued by the Meteorological Department, heavy rain is expected in Dehradun, Uttarkashi and Bageshwar districts on Thursday, August 29. Under the yellow alert, there is a possibility of heavy rain in all the three districts along with thunder and lightning.

Apart from this, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain in some places in Chamoli, Almora, Haridwar and Udham Singh Nagar districts. At the same time, there will be a possibility of heavy and moderate rain in different parts for the next few days.
