Uttarakhand weather update: Rain forecast for these districts
Light rain may occur in Uttarkashi, Chamoli and Pithoragarh of Uttarakhand on Sunday, February 16. The weather will remain dry in other places and the temperature may reach 26 degrees Celsius. Light rain occurred in various parts of Uttarakhand and snowfall was seen on high peaks. Due to this, the temperature dropped by two to three degrees.
According to Meteorological Department, it may rain in hilly areas on February 16. The weather will remain dry on February 17 and 18. There are chances of rain at many places in the state on February 19 and 20.
Temperature drops due to rain and cold winds in Dehradun
Dehradun remained cloudy since Sunday morning and there was light rain. However, the sun shone in the afternoon, but by evening cold winds started blowing. Due to this, the temperature of Doon decreased by three degrees in 24 hours. The maximum temperature of Doon on Friday was 26.7 degrees, which was recorded at 23.6 degrees on Saturday. Whereas, the minimum temperature was 10.3 degrees. Mussoorie received 1.4 mm of rain, and Chandrabani in Dehradun received 3.6 mm of rain.
