Uttarakhand weather update: Rain forecast in these districts on Aug 3
According to the Meteorological Center located in Dehradun, there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rains in 7 districts of Uttarakhand today (August 3). The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert in some districts and a yellow alert in some districts.
Heavy rains are continuing in Uttarakhand from the mountainous regions to the plains. Due to heavy rains, cases of landslides are coming to the fore in the mountainous regions every day. Heavy rains also occurred in many areas of the state on Saturday. Due to heavy rains in Dehradun on Saturday, waterlogging occurred in many areas. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of heavy rain in seven districts of the state today.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is an alert of heavy rain in seven districts of Uttarakhand today, i.e. Sunday, August 3. Today, an orange alert has been issued for heavy rain in Dehradun and Bageshwar districts of the state. At the same time, a yellow alert has been issued regarding the possibility of heavy rain at some places in Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Tehri, Pauri and Nainital districts. Today, there is also a possibility of lightning and heavy to very heavy rain at some places in the state.
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Bageshwar, Nainital and Champawat districts tomorrow on August 4. After this, heavy rain may occur in Dehradun, Tehri, Pauri, Nainital, Bageshwar and Champawat districts on August 5.
