Uttarakhand weather update: Yellow alert for rain in Uttarkashi, Chamoli & Pithoragarh on March 4

The weather has changed once again in the state. On Tuesday (March 4), there is a possibility of rain with lightning in some places in Uttarkashi, Chamoli, and Pithoragarh districts. Yellow alert has been issued in three districts.

Snowfall may occur on peaks higher than 2800 meters. During this time, there may be cloudy weather and light drizzle in some places in Rudraprayag, Tehri and Dehradun districts. The weather is likely to remain dry in other areas. On Monday afternoon, the sky remained cloudy in Dehradun.

Possibility of snowfall on peaks above 2800 meters

Director of Meteorological Center Bikram Singh said that there may be rain in three districts on Tuesday and snowfall on high peaks. The weather of the state is likely to clear and remain dry from March 5.
