Uttarkhand Corona update: 361 cases on January 1, 2021
On the first day of the new year, 361 corona infections were found across the state. With this, the total number of infected Covid-19 in the state has crossed 91 thousand. The department has been working to trace those identified as infected so that the suspected patients can be quarantined. It is a matter of relief that the corona recovery rate has increased to 92 percent.
It is also a matter of concern that six people have died on Friday from the Corona virus. The number of patients who died of corona virus in the state has reached 1515. Whereas, an elderly 93-year-old woman in Srinagar has completely recovered after beating Corona. After beating Corona, she is discharged from the hospital and went home. Today, 492 patients were sent home after recovering. With these, 8,3998 patients have become healthy so far.
The first day of the New Year brought somewhat relief in terms of corona infection. In December, the infection rate was 3.83 percent. While on Friday it was around two and a half percent. Not only this, the recovery rate in the state has also reached above 92 percent. At the same time, active cases have also been reduced to around four and a half thousand.
According to the information received from the health department, a total of 14,000 sample test reports have been received from government and private labs on January 1. Of these, 361 cases were reported positive and 13639 negative. Dehradun had the highest incidence of corona infection at 124 people. In Nainital, 87 people tested positive.
