Weather department forecasts rain in Uttarakhand in last week of February

In Uttarakhand, sunshine in some places amidst partial clouds and cold winds are increasing the chill. However, the weather is expected to remain dry in most parts of the state on Sunday (February 24) and Monday (February25). Due to which the temperature may increase.

At the same time, according to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, the weather may change in some places in the state from February 25 and there are chances of light rain in the mountainous areas amidst partial clouds. After this, there may be rain and snowfall in the state for two days.

Cold felt due to light wind

In most areas including Dehradun, sunshine and clouds kept playing hide and seek throughout the day on Saturday. Cold was felt due to light wind along with clouds hovering in the sky. Apart from this, there is cold in the morning and evening from the mountain to the plain. The minimum temperature in most areas remains below normal.

After the snowfall on the peaks in the past few days, cold winds are testing the surrounding lower areas. However, the weather is expected to remain dry and bright sunshine for the next two days.
