8 injured in bus accident on Gangotri Highway

A bus full of passengers lost control and overturned on the road near Nalupani on the Gangotri Highway. Eight pilgrims are said to be injured in the accident. On receiving information about the incident, rescue teams including police, SDRF reached the spot and the injured pilgrims were sent to the hospital. Where their treatment is going on. On Friday, pilgrims from Madhya Pradesh were going on a pilgrimage to Gangotri Dham on a bus. Suddenly the bus overturned on the road near Nalupani on the Gangotri Highway. Fortunately, the bus overturned on the road itself. If the passenger bus had fallen into the gorge, it could have been a major accident. It was reported that there were 45 pilgrims in the bus, out of which eight pilgrims were injured.

The reason for the bus overturning is said to be high speed. According to the information received from the disaster control room, the pilgrims were going to Gangotri Dham. All the injured pilgrims are being brought to the district hospital. The Chardham Yatra is going on in full swing in Uttarakhand. Devotees from across the country and abroad are coming for the Char Dham Yatra. Due to the hilly route, even a slight mistake can lead to accidents, in such a situation, caution is the only protection.
