CM Dhami did an aerial survey of the heavy rain affected area of ​​Uttarkashi

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami conducted an aerial inspection of Ojari and Syanachatti areas including the disaster caused by heavy rains in Silai Band on Yamunotri Highway. Along with this, he observed the conditions around the Yamunotri area. During this, he instructed the high officials of the government and administration to work on the ground to improve the situation on a war footing. Also said that every possible help will be given to the affected person during the disaster.

There was a lot of damage due to rain in Uttarkashi in the past days. Roads were damaged at many places. Fields and crops were also damaged. A landslide occurred after heavy rains in Silai Band of Barkot, which hit the camp of laborers. Out of which 20 laborers survived safely. Whereas, the remaining 9 laborers were swept away. Out of which 2 bodies were recovered and the remaining 7 people are missing.

Apart from this, some pilgrims were buried due to rock fall/landslide on the Yamunotri trek route. In which some lost their lives. On the other hand, due to rain, rain lot of damage is seen in many villages including Jakhol, Paan and Sunkudi. Roads were washed out in many places and apple crop was also destroyed.

CM Dhami did aerial survey

To assess the real situation of the heavy rain affected areas today, CM Pushkar Dhami conducted an aerial survey with BJP state president Mahendra Bhatt. Also took stock of the damage caused by heavy rains. At the same time, after the aerial survey, CM Dhami says that relief and rescue operations will be reviewed again.

Chief Minister Pushkar Dhami said that the state government stands with every affected citizen in this hour of disaster. Relief work has been expedited by the government. So that the needy and suffering people can get timely help. At the same time, now CM Dhami will direct the concerned officials to assess the damage and take immediate further action.
