FIR registered against 3 year old and 6 month old in Uttarkashi for home quarantine violation, probe on

A case has been filed against the six-month-old child and a three-year-old girl by the state police on charges of violation of home quarantine. The case has stirred the administration. District Magistrate Dr. Ashish Chauhan has suspended Covid-19 Magistrate of the concerned area in this case. This case is from Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand. Under the Juvenile Act, no case can be filed against children below eight years of age.
During the lockdown, a family from Panchkula Haryana reached their village in Chinyalisaur area. This family was instructed to home quarantine. It is alleged that the family did not follow the home quarantine. The complaint reached the District Magistrate. On the order of the District Magistrate, Collectorate OC Chatar Singh Chauhan ordered to file a case against 51 people who did not follow the Home Quarantine in Chinyalisaur Tehsil area.
A six-month-old baby and a three-year-old girl’s name and their parents’ name were also included in this list of people. As soon as the list reached the Police. The Police Home filed a case against them for not following the quarantine and endangering the lives of others.
