Uttarkashi’s Satakshi tops 12th, Doon’s Ananta topper in 10th UK board
Uttarakhand School Education Council (UBSE) announced the results of High School-Intermediate examination on Thursday. 80.13 percent students in Intermediate and 76.43% students in High School have passed. Shatakshi Tiwari, an intermediate student of Srividya Temple Inter College Chinyalisaur Uttarkashi is a state topper with 98 percent marks. Anantha Saklani, a student of Vidya Mandir Inter College, Nathuwala, Dehradun, in High School, secured first place with 99 percent marks.
RK Kunwar, Chairman of the board and Secretary Dr. Neeta Tiwari announced the results on Thursday at Ramnagar. They said that one lakh 22 thousand 618 examinees had taken Intermediate exams. In that 98 thousand 262 students passed. Shatakshi, a student of Srividya Temple Inter College Chinyalisaur , topped the state after receiving 490 out of 500 marks. Students of this school, secured second place in the state merit with 97.80 percent marks. Harish Singh Bohra, a student of KN Upreti State Model Inter College Pithoragarh, got third place in merit with 96.80 percent. In Intermediate, 26 thousand 278 students passed with first division.
One lakh 46 thousand 584 candidates undertook the high school examination. One lakh 12 thousand and 36 candidates passed. 1.86 percent more students passed this year compared to last year. Ananta Saklani, a student of Vidya Mandir Inter College, Nathuwala, Dehradun, secured first position in the list of state toppers by getting 499 out of 500 marks. Vidya Mandir Inter College Housing Development, Rishikesh Dehradun student Arpit Barthwal ranked second in merit with 98.60 percent marks. Surabhi Ghatori, student of Vidya Mandir Inter College Sitarganj Udhamsinghnagar, secured third position in merit with 98.40% marks. Of the two lakh 69 thousand 202 test takers in the two examinations, two lakh 10 thousand 298 students passed. 58,904 examinees failed.
