Woman swept away in Bhagirathi while making a reel in Uttarkashi

A heart-wrenching incident has come to light in Uttarkashi district. Here, a woman was swept away in the strong current of the Bhagirathi river while making a reel at Manikarnika Ghat. Her daughter, who was filming the incident watched in horror as the woman disappeared in the strong current of the river. On receiving the information, the police and SDRF team reached the spot and are searching for the woman. But the woman has not been found yet. The woman is said to be a resident of Nepal.
According to the police, Vishesha age 35 years, resident of Kathmandu Nepal had reached Manikarnika Ghat with her daughter on Monday evening. After taking a dip in the Ganga with her daughter there, she gave the mobile to her daughter and went to the middle of the river herself. Then she asked her daughter to make a video. While trying to go over a stone, her foot slipped and she was swept away in the strong current of the river and then she was swept into river.
Efforts are being made to find the woman for the last three days, but she has not been found. The police administration came to know about the incident when the video of the incident went viral on social media. It is being told that while making a reel, the woman could not estimate the depth of the river and she was swept away in the strong current of the river. A team of divers is engaged in searching for the woman, but the police and the team of divers have not been successful.
