America will create ‘Golden Dome Missile Defense Shield’, Donald Trump announces

Meanwhile, now US President Donald Trump has also announced to build a new missile defense system for the country. He has named it ‘Golden Dome Missile Defense Shield’. 175 billion dollar project
The cost of building the Golden Dome Missile Defense Shield has been kept at $175 billion. The purpose of this missile defense shield is to protect America from the threats posed by its enemies. Donald Trump has revealed that he has chosen the final design of this missile defense. General Michael Guetlin of the US Space Force has been made the head of this project.
By when will it be built, what will be its features?
US President Donald Trump has directed to complete the Golden Dome Missile Defense Shield by January 2029. His term will be about to end then. Trump has said that the ‘Golden Dome will protect our motherland. All of them will be shot down in the air’. He claimed that the success rate of this missile defense is very close to 100%. The Golden Dome can rely on hundreds of satellites to detect, track and stop missiles coming towards the country. It is expected to have both surveillance satellites and interceptor satellites to target enemy missiles. It is being designed to intercept hypersonic glide vehicles, cruise missiles and AI-equipped drones.
