Bhutan is one of the countries with the least corona cases. Bhutan distanced itself from the Corona pandemic. When countries around the world had reached the second stage of Corona, the lockdown was applied for the first time in Bhutan. That too for only 5 days.
On 11 August, a letter was issued from the Prime Minister’s Office of Bhutan announcing a 5-day lockdown in Bhutan.
Two days ago a woman was found to be corona positive. The lockdown was imposed in the capital after new patients were found in Thimphu. Now it has been announced all over the country.
