A shocking incident has come to light in the US. President Donald Trump’s close aide and conservative activist Charlie Kirk has been shot dead in public. This has come as a big shock to the US President. Hurt by the incident, Trump announced on social media that conservative activist Charlie Kirk has died. He was injured by a bullet in the neck while speaking during an event at Utah Valley University. Trump said Kirk was ‘everyone’s favorite. Everyone admired him’.

On X, the White House wrote, “To honor Charlie Kirk, President Trump has ordered all American flags to be flown at half-mast across the United States.” According to America’s ABC News, the shooting took place when Kirk was answering a student’s question related to mass shooting.

Who was Charlie Kirk
Charlie Kirk was the founder of America’s leading right-wing youth activist organization and was considered close to President Donald Trump. He was fatally shot while giving a speech at a college campus of Utah University on Wednesday. The state governor called it a “political assassination.” He was just 31 years old. By late Wednesday, authorities had detained two people as part of the investigation, but both were released without charges. FBI Director Kash Patel said one suspect was released after questioning. “Our investigation continues.”
