Embassy issues evacuation advisory for Indians in Tehran

Amid Israeli drone and missile attacks on Tehran, the Indian government has strictly advised Indian citizens and people of Indian origin (PIOs) living in Iran to immediately leave the capital Tehran. The Indian Embassy has issued a new advisory saying that those who have the means to leave on their own should leave the city without delay. The embassy has given this warning at a time when there are continuous air strikes in Tehran and the security situation is becoming increasingly dangerous.

Appeal to evacuate 10,000 students, Iran told the land route

India has appealed to Iran to safely evacuate more than 10,000 Indian students stranded in the country. In response, the Iranian government said that due to the closure of the airspace, students can leave via land routes through Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan or Afghanistan.
