July 2024 hottest on record in last 175 years

Due to increasing human intervention in the climate, the earth’s temperature is increasing very rapidly. American scientists claimed that the world has faced its hottest July ever in 2024.

According to scientists at the National Center for Environmental Information (NCEI) of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), the rising temperature was recorded 1.21 degrees Celsius higher than the global average temperature (15.8 °C) recorded in July during the 20th century. This is the 14th consecutive month when the rising temperature has set a new record.

These figures of climate records are based on the climate history of the last 175 years. NCEI has also confirmed in the report that this was the hottest July ever for Asia, Africa and Europe. North America has also faced its second hottest July.

According to the report, the rising temperature during the seven months between January and July has set a new record. This period from January to July was the hottest period in climate history so far. During this period, the rising temperature was recorded 1.28 degrees Celsius higher than the average temperature recorded during this period in the 20th century. For Asia, this was the fourth hottest January to July period, while for North America it was the second hottest period.

Neither the earth nor the sea will remain safe from rising temperatures

Weather experts say that the earth is warming up very fast. If the temperature continues to rise like this, then this earth is not safe for the environment and animals as well as humans. Rising temperatures are also harmful for the sea. Globally, the sea surface temperature was also the second hottest on record. However, with this it also stopped the series of records of rising sea temperatures for 15 consecutive months. In July, the sea surface temperature in most parts of the world was much higher than normal, while the temperature in some parts of the tropical and south-eastern Pacific remained below average.
