Myanmar jolted by another Earthquake of 5.1 magnitude

An earthquake struck Myanmar again on Sunday (March 30) afternoon at around 2:30 pm. Its magnitude was measured at 5.1 on the Richter scale. Thus, in the last 3 days, 4 earthquakes of more than 5 magnitude have occurred. The epicenter of the earthquake was about 17 miles (27 KM) north of Mandalay in Myanmar.
According to news agency AFP, the death toll has reached 1644 till Saturday, while more than 3,408 people were injured and 139 people are missing. Meanwhile, a 30-storey building collapsed in Thailand’s capital Bangkok. 17 people have died in this.
The death toll may be more than 10 thousand. This apprehension was expressed by the United States Geological Survey (USGS). The tremors of this earthquake were felt till Thailand, Bangladesh, China and India.
