World’s most powerful passport 2025 rankings released

The ranking of the world’s most powerful passports for the first six months of the year 2025 has been released. This ranking has been published by the prestigious institution Henley & Partners. According to the Henley Passport Index, Singapore’s passport is the most powerful passport in the world. People who hold it can travel visa-free to 195 countries of the world.
Japan has the second most powerful passport after Singapore
Japan is second in the ranking of the world’s most powerful passports after Singapore. Through the Japanese passport, people are allowed visa-free travel to 193 countries. At the same time, after Japan, South Korea, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Finland jointly occupy the third position. The passports of these countries allow visa-free entry to 192 countries.
Austria, Ireland, Denmark, Luxembourg, Norway, Sweden and Netherlands have the fourth most powerful passport in the world. They can give visa free entry to 191 countries. New Zealand, Portugal, Switzerland, Britain and Belgium have the fifth most powerful passport with free entry to 190 countries.
India is at number 85 in the ranking of the most powerful passports in the countries of the world. Visa free travel can be done to 57 countries of the world through the Indian passport. However, India has come down 5 ranks compared to last year.
India’s neighboring country Pakistan’s position in the list of countries with the most powerful passports in the world is very low. Pakistan’s passport has once again been included in the weakest passports. Pakistan is at number 103 with free visa entry to 33 countries. Whereas African countries Somalia, Palestine, Nepal and Bangladesh are ranked above Pakistan. Somalia’s passport is at number 102. Afghanistan with a ranking of 106 is placed last on the list.
