Uttarakhand Coronavirus update 8 July: 28 new cases reported

Corona infection has been confirmed in 28 new patients in Uttarakhand on Wednesday. With this, the number of infected patients has now reached 3258 in the state. Today 29 patients have recovered and returned home.

According to the Health Bulletin issued by the Health Department, nine cases (one private lab) in Dehradun, six in Haridwar, two in Nainital, four each in Pauri and Uttarkashi and three in Udham Singh Nagar have been reported.

So far, 2650 infected patients have recovered and returned home. There are still 534 active cases. While 46 corona-infected patients have died so far. At the same time, the recovery rate of corona patients in the state is 81.34 percent.

Tourists who do not follow guidelines returned from Mussoorie

On Wednesday, many tourists who did not follow the advisory of Uttarakhand government after coming to Mussoorie from outside states were returned from Kolukhet. On behalf of the district administration, tourists have been allowed to come to Mussoorie and Rishikesh according to the conditions.

Mussoorie administration and police jointly conducted a checking operation at Kolukhet, the gateway to Mussoorie. ICMR-certified Corona Negative Report is generated in the last 72 hours is being checked of people coming to Mussoorie from outside states. For those who did not get the corona test done, the seven-day quarantine stay form is being filled with booking for seven days in Mussoorie. Apart from this, those who are not following both rules are not being allowed to enter Mussoorie.

Mussoorie SDM Premlal said that tourists have been allowed to come to Mussoorie. With this, trade in Mussoorie can be conducted and financially strengthened. He said that some rules have been made regarding the entry of tourists into Mussoorie, which are necessary to follow.
