Uttarakhand weather alert: Western disturbance to create cold conditions for next 4 days

In Uttarakhand, from the plains to the mountains, the weather is forecast to change. According to meteorologists, due to the activation of Western Disturbance, light to moderate rain is expected from the mountains to the plains from Tuesday to the next four days, while there is also a possibility of heavy snowfall in areas with a height of more than three thousand meters.

According to meteorologists, due to the activation of Western Disturbance, the maximum impact of change in weather will be on thousands of people of Joshimath who are already facing troubles due to land subsidence. Not only this, meteorologists have expressed the possibility of dense fog along with cold wave in Haridwar and Udham Singh Nagar within the next 24 hours.

According to Vikram Singh, director of the Meteorological Center, on Tuesday, where the sky will be cloudy from the plains to the mountains and there is a possibility of severe cold, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain in Chamoli, Uttarkashi and Pithoragarh on Wednesday and Thursday. While districts like Dehradun, Tehri, Rudraprayag, Almora, Bageshwar are also likely to receive light rain at some places.

Not only this, there is a possibility of heavy snowfall in areas above three thousand meters height due to the change of weather patterns. He said that due to the possibility of changing of the weather, the administration and the district administration need to be alert.
