Corona curfew extended till July 20 in Uttarakhand; guidelines issued

Despite the continuous decrease in the cases of corona, the Uttarakhand government has extended the Covid curfew in the state for a week. Corona curfew will now continue in Uttarakhand till July 20. The earlier concessions have been continued in this time’s Covid curfew as well. According to the new notification, the following decisions have been taken:

• The Covid curfew in Uttarakhand will continue till 6 am on July 20.
• The market will open from 8 am to 7 pm during the Corona curfew.
• Up to 50 people are allowed to attend the wedding undone. Everyone should have a corona negative report not less than 72 hours before.
• Only 50 people are allowed to attend the funeral procession.
• For students above 18 years of age, a coaching center can be opened with 50% capacity. During this, it is mandatory to follow social distance.
• Social events and sports activities will remain closed.
• Those coming from other states will have to submit a 72-hour old corona negative report.
• It is also mandatory to register on the same Dehradun Smart City Portal.

Corona cases are decreasing rapidly in the state. The government had given some relaxations for tourists after the cases of Corona reduced, but after the huge crowd of tourists, the government has started to be strict again. The District Magistrates under which the tourist spot comes will have the authority to makes rules so that Covid appropriate protocols are followed.
