Uttarakhand Corona update 11 July: 45 new cases, 12 cured today

On Saturday, 45 new cases of corona infection including two health workers were reported in Uttarakhand. Today, the maximum number of cases was 21in Dehradun district. After this, the total number of infected people in the state now stands at 3417.

Out of which active cases are 623. At the same time, 2718 patients have been cured. Today, corona cases have been found three in Almora, one Chamoli, three inHaridwar,one in Rudraprayag, two in Tehri, 14 in Udham Singh Nagar and 21 in Dehradun.

What will open in Dehradun on Sunday

On Sunday, everything except shops, markets and commercial establishments will be open in Doon due to Corona infection. Petrol pumps, medical stores, dairies, gas agencies, tiffin services, licensed meat-fish shops, industrial units and OPD of hospitals will remain open. Bakery and home delivery services will also operate. Vikram, Auto, City bus will also run. People will also be able to do morning walks. Construction works and industrial units will also operate.

DM Dr. Ashish Kumar Srivastava informed that now the markets of Doiwala municipality area, the markets of Sahaspur and Selakui will now be closed on Wednesday. Earlier, weekly closure of the market in Doiwala municipality area was Sunday, while the weekly closure of markets in Sahaspur and Selakui area was kept on Saturday.

On Sunday, the markets of Municipal Corporation Dehradun, Cantonment Council Garhi Cantt and Clementtown and Tuni area will remain closed. Weekly closures in Municipal Corporation Rishikesh will be closed on Thursday, while Mussoorie Municipality and Chakrata area markets will remain closed on Wednesday. On Sunday, wards will be sanitized by the Municipal Corporation, Municipality and Nagar Panchayat.

500 bed Covid Care Center to be built in Nainital district

To prevent corona infection in the state, a 500-bed Covid care center will be set up in Nainital district. For this, Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat instructed the District Magistrate Nainital to establish a Covid Care Center in collaboration with the SDRF. CM said that Uttarakhand is second in the country after Ladakh in recovery rate. Although the state is way behind other Himalayan states in terms of testing for Corona.

At the secretariat on Saturday, the Chief Minister reviewed video conferencing to prevent Covid infection and rescue operations. The CM instructed all the District Magistrates that the people kept in the home quarantine should be regularly monitored. For this, the Chief Development Officers should be designated Nodal Officers.
