Kedarnath helicopter online ticket booking to open from today; know details
All preparations have been completed for Kedarnath Heli service in Chardham Yatra. Online booking of heli tickets will be opened by IRCTC on April 8 at 12 noon but registration of Chardham Yatra will be mandatory to book heli tickets. Ticket booking will not be possible without registration. 6 seats can be booked from one e-mail ID at a time and 12 seats can be booked if traveling in a group. Ticket booking facility will be available only twice on one IP during the entire journey period.
Char Dham Yatra 2023 is starting from 22 April. The doors of Kedarnath Dham will open on 25 April. Uttarakhand Civil Aviation Development Authority (UCADA) has completed preparations for Kedarnath Heli Service. Heli service will be operated through nine companies from Guptkashi, Sirsi and Phata. For the first time online booking of heli tickets is being done through IRCTC.
Booking to start at 12 noon
You can book heli service tickets on IRCTC’s www.heliyatra.irctc.co.in. For this, first of all login ID has to be created. After selecting the heli operator company, the passenger has to fill the date of travel and slot time. Along with this, the number and information of passengers traveling will have to be given. After completing this process OTP will come on the registered mobile number. After entering the OTP, the ticket will be booked after paying the ticket amount online.
ID must be shown along with ticket for boarding
Passengers will also have to show ID along with the ticket for boarding. In which any of the government ids like Aadhaar Card, Pan Card, Passport, Driving License, Voter ID Card will have to be given.
Booking will be done till April 30 in the first phase
In the first phase for Kedarnath heli service, tickets will be booked from April 25 to 30. If a passenger wants to book a ticket for May 1, it will not happen presently. After this, the booking slot for the second phase will be opened.
