Corona cases in Uttarakhand jumps by 72; 244 cases reported till May 23

A record 72 new corona patients have emerged in Uttarakhand on Saturday. A woman suspected of corona died in Doon Hospital. She was a resident of Shamli (UP) and admitted to the ICU of Doon Hospital. Her sample has been sent for investigation. Now the total number of infected in the state has reached 183. Of these, 2 patients have died, while 59 have become healthy.

A woman resident of Bijnor, a cancer victim admitted to AIIMS Rishikesh, died late Friday evening. The woman was corona infected. This is the second death of a corona infected patient in the state. Earlier on May 1, a 56-year-old woman resident of Lalkuan Haldwani died in AIIMS. She was hospitalized due to a brain attack and her report was positive for Corona. Twenty cases of corona, including a seven-year-old child suffering from thalassemia, were reported in the state on Friday.

Now the total number of patients in the state has increased to 244. After the arrival of these cases, the total number of infected people in the state has increased to 244. Today 3 cases were reportedin migrants from Rudraprayag. Now there is no district in Uttarakhand from where Corona case has not been reported.

Seven corona positive cases were reported in Champawat district yesterday which was far protected from corona infection. Out of this four youths who were found positive came from Mumbai on 21 May, who were quarantined at the tourist house Tanakpur. While three other youths had already arrived from Noida and Gurugram, which were kept in the quarantine centers of their region.

55 cases from Nainital district

Out of the 72 cases found till the 8 P.M Health update on 23 May, 55 cases were from Naintial district whose travel details include traveling from Maharashtra to Haridwar by train and from Haridwar to Haldwani by bus.
