10 BJP workers given state minster status in Uttarakhand Government

In the new year, the government has given a gift to 10 BJP workers by giving them state minister status. They have been given the status of Minister of State along with the responsibility of the Chairman and Deputy Chairman of various councils and committees.

The government has so far delegated more than 30 BJP workers to various councils and committees. Now in this episode, the government has given obligations to 10 more workers.

Rajveer Singh, a resident of Khatima, has been made the chairman of Uttarakhand State Seed and Organic Products Certification Society. Vishwas Dabur, a resident of Dehradun, has been made the chairman of the Uttarakhand Housing and Development Council. Haldwani resident Prof. Bahadur Singh Bisht has been made the Deputy Chairman of the Uttarakhand State Higher Education Upgradation Committee.

Atar Singh Aswal, resident of Srinagar, Garhwal, and Atar Singh Tomar, resident of Chambad, have been entrusted with the responsibility of vice chairman in the Irrigation Advisory Committee. Shobha Ram Prajapati, a resident of Haridwar, has been made the vice chairman of the Mati Arts Board. Fakir Ram Tamta, a resident of Berinag, Pithoragarh, has been appointed as the Deputy Chairman of the Social Welfare Planning Monitoring Committee.

At the same time, Khem Pal Singh, resident of Dehradun, has been made vice-chairman of Backward Classes Welfare Council, Doiwala, Dehradun resident Karan Bohra has been appointed as vice-chairman of Uttarakhand Forest Panchayat Advisory Council and Sushil Chauhan, resident of Haridwar, Bahadarabad has been appointed vice-chairman of organic products council.

Government shuffles balance in liability distribution

Amid preparations for cabinet expansion, the government handed over the responsibility to 10 party leaders with the status of Minister of State and indicated that now the party is fully involved in the preparations for the assembly elections. Seniority along with regional and ethnic balance has been preferred in the responsibility sharing.

In Uttarakhand these days, the atmosphere in the BJP is completely enthusiastic. Reason, Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has indicated early cabinet expansion. There are three vacancies in the cabinet and the number of ministerial contenders is more than 40.

This is the reason that for the last few days, BJP MLAs are seen trying to make themselves part of the cabinet. Lobbying has started from Doon to Delhi. Here, on Tuesday, the Chief Minister suddenly awarded 10 party workers the responsibilities of the rank of Minister of State.

With this, now the number of responsibilities with the post of minister in the government has reached almost 40. Importantly, in the responsibility sharing, the hill districts of Garhwal and Kumaon as well as the plains districts like Haridwar and Udham Singh Nagar have also been given representation. In this situation, it is believed that the Chief Minister is going to take the step of cabinet expansion soon.
