Uttarakhand weather update: Light rain forecast in most districts of the state for three days

A yellow alert has been issued by the Uttarakhand Meteorological Center for rain in the hilly districts, while light rain may occur in some areas of Dehradun, Bageshwar and Nainital districts.

According to the release issued by the Meteorological Center, a warning has been issued of light rain at isolated places in most of the districts of the state for the next three days. However, the weather will remain dry in Udham Singh Nagar and Haridwar.

Yesterday there was heavy rain in the hilly districts of Uttarakhand. It rained heavily in the capital Dehradun also. Dense fog prevailed after rain in Mussoorie.

On Tuesday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 34.2 degrees in Dehradun, four degrees more than normal, 34.5 degrees in Pantnagar, 22 degrees in Mukteshwar and 25.4 degrees in New Tehri.

Meteorological Director Dr. Bikram Singh said that similar weather is expected till September 23. It rained at some places in Dehradun on Tuesday. Rain was recorded in other districts. 16 mm rainfall was recorded in Mukteshwar, 15mm in Mussoorie and 3.5 mm in Dhanaulti.
